Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?

Yes! The Ohana Branch is a hybrid practice. Most appointments are offered virtually through a secure, encrypted platform, allowing you to attend therapy from the comfort of your own space anywhere in Ontario.

We also offer limited in-person appointments in Durham Region by appointment for clients who prefer face-to-face care.

Do you offer in-person appointments?

WE WILL EXPLORE YOUR GOALS AND PREFERENCES TO DETERMINE THE BEST PATH FORWARD FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH JOURNEY.

How long are appointments?

Most therapy sessions are 45 minutes, allowing time for meaningful conversation while keeping appointments on schedule.

Do you accept insurance?

Many extended health benefit plans cover services provided by a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW). However, coverage varies depending on your individual insurance plan.

It is the client's responsibility to confirm with their insurance provider that services provided by The Ohana Branch, including virtual psychotherapy sessions, are covered under their plan before booking an appointment.

Following your appointment, you will receive a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement if your plan includes coverage.

What happens after I contact you?

Once you reach out, we'll respond within 1–2 business days. We'll answer any questions you have and, if you'd like, schedule a complimentary consultation to determine whether we're the right fit.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can contact us directly to book an appointment.
